It is the Mission of the Great Octave Foundation to: 1) Seek out and foster ways to use the healing power of sacred sounds to encourage peaceful coexistence throughout the world. 2) Create opportunities for individuals from various spiritual traditions to work together to learn about, experience and use sacred sounds as a unifying force in fostering individual spiritual growth as well as peace and understanding between peoples and nations. 3) Sponsor conferences, symposium, discussion groups, etc., which bring together individuals from various spiritual traditions and scientific disciplines to: a) explore the use and efficacy of sound in Kabballah and other spiritual traditions including Tibetan, Islamic, Buddhist, Hindu, Christian, Native American, etc.; b) explore the intersection between modern scientific thought, such as super string theory, and sound meditation and sound healing in general. 4) Foster the ongoing study and understanding of sound meditation based on the various writings commonly referred to as the Kabballah. 5) Foster the use of sound meditation based on the Kabballah, nationally and internationally, among the general public as well as in such places as prisons, health care institutions, and underprivileged communities. 6) To provide physical locations designed to: a) be conducive to the practice of sound
meditation based on the Kabballah for spiritual growth and physical healing; 7) To create retreat settings that provide individuals with the opportunity to explore the wisdom of the Kabballah and engage in sound meditation based on the Kabballah, in a peaceful and serene environment. 8) To use communication tools such as
television, film, the World Wide Web, and Internet radio to further the goals of
the organization.
