Dear Family, Friends, and Colleagues,

As you know, the Middle East Peace Dialogue Network, Inc. sponsors two events each year that brings Jewish and Arab children together.  Bringing about peace through dialogue beginning with the children has been my life’s work.  The activities are held in Israel every May and September and thousands of children have enjoyed attending.  The children are the future and with their understanding that peace is a reality it cannot fail. “Children today – Leaders tomorrow!”

On Wednesday, May 14, I am hosting the 3^rd Annual Richard C. Goodwin Festival for Peace at The Luna Gal Park on the Eastern shore of Lake Kenneret in Israel.  Mohammad Darawshe, Chair of the planning committee, and I both are aiming for 4,000 – 5,000 participants.  The Minister of Culture Science and Sports, the Director of the Northern District of the Ministry of Education, and other dignitaries will be in attendance.  We are hoping to have 40 – 50 schools participate in the festivities.  The children enjoy and look forward to coming together peacefully and interacting.
